My DV2000 HP Lap­top turns on but no dis­play on the LCD screen.

What could be the problem?

My pc crashed the day before my final exams and all my notes were locked inside.  I went to a com­puter store and they wanted $100 to fix it.  I didn’t have that much cash.  I called ExperTalk and their tech­ni­cian used the inter­net to log into my com­puter while I watched.  He got it to boot up so I could get my doc­u­ments out.  I felt really safe because ExperTalk said if they didn’t fix my com­puter I wouldn’t pay.  I paid $30.  The num­ber I called for ExperTalk was  8882667558. . There is another option,
 first you can send them a text mes­sage with your name and number….some times they call some num­ber from their received num­ber. Good luck
