Depends on which one would get more traffic. For a blog to get traffic you have to attract attention, but in order to make money from ads on that blog you have to attract attention on the order of Perez Hilton. On the other hand a website with information that many people would want would see more traffic. So whichever you think you’d be able to attract more people to would make you more money.
