I have set up a network using TP Link. Although all the computers on the network connect to the access point, only the two computers using XP connect directly to the internet. The computer running on Vista only allows Local Access. Sometimes, for a few minutes It is allowed internet access. Is it a set up problem, in the computer running on Vista, or will it never work, running two different OS with one network?
How do I ‘flush DNS’ when the message I receive is that my computer has pinged my DNS and receieved the reply that it does not respond. I never get that reply on Xp. Sorry to be a pain

It really isn’t a network setup problem per se(your xp machines work,) but you may have some setting issues on your vista machine or tp link or both.
Since its Vista machine, try turning off the firewall and see if that works. (ONLY TEMP) and then turn that firewall back on.
The other thing with vista is that you have to categorize the type of connection. Is it a home network, work, public ect.
Also try flushing your dns and register it again the next time you lose internet.
