Is it okay to change the WordPress security keys once WP is installed?

Hi,

I have WordPress installed but I’d like to change the keys (long story why). Is it okay to do so? Thanks in advance!

I honestly don’t know — but if you do change them you’re probably going to have to change them within the database itself thru phpmyadmin. Just changing them in the config file may or may not work. If you go this route — make a backup of the config file.

I think you might be better off asking at the wordpress forum.
